Qualifications

• Construction, environmental or asbestos industry exposure preferred, not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting experienced surveyors with Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys.
• Learning to identify and assess asbestos-containing materials in accordance with HSG264.
• Collecting bulk samples and recording accurate site information.
• Producing asbestos survey reports with full training provided.
• Travelling across the Central Belt of Scotland to a variety of sites.
• Ensuring all work complies with HSE guidance and company procedures.

A well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor to join its growing team based in East Kilbride. The Role
