Job summary

Airborne Environmental Consultants Ltd is seeking a Trainee Asbestos Analyst in Manchester to train toward BOHS P403 & P404 and become a qualified analyst. You will follow a 14-week training programme, with classroom and site work, mentored by experienced staff.

Upon qualification you’ll monitor and analyse airborne fibres across sites, with a site-based focus and opportunities for travel. This role is paid from £24,784.50 rising to £26,000 on successful sign-off and includes a company van after

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths and English (or equivalent) are required.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Full UK manual driving licence and own vehicle during training.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a 14-week training course and prepare for BOHS P403 & P404 exams.
• Training delivered across Manchester office with site shadowing.
• Work on varied sites such as camps, hospitals and historical buildings.
• Ensure all work meets AEC and UKAS standards for quality and safety.
• Participate in weekend rotas and occasional work away from home.
