This is your chance to build a rewarding career in the environmental safety sector, where your work helps protect people’s health and improve building safety. As part of our dedicated team, you’ll play a key role in identifying and monitoring asbestos in buildings, helping to create safer spaces across the UK. This entry-level role suits someone enthusiastic, adaptable, and keen to learn in a hands‑on environment.

  • Test for leaks while work is happening to make sure safety measures are working
  • Carry out air testing after the work to confirm it’s safe to remove safety controls and use the area again
  • Report any health and safety concerns to the client and stop work right away if needed
  • Put together a final report with all project details, including waste documents, for the building’s safety file

  • A keen eye for detail and an interest in analytical work—particularly using microscopes is valuable, as you’ll be trained to examine air samples for asbestos fibres
  • Strong time management and organisational skills are essential to manage site schedules, complete reports accurately, and meet client deadlines
