Air Hygiene Engineer Role

The main responsibilities include assisting the Lead Engineer with ventilation, ductwork cleaning, and other air hygiene services to our customers.

Full training and personal development plans will be provided. No prior experience in air hygiene is required, but it is advantageous. The role suits individuals seeking a hands-on position, potentially those with backgrounds in facilities management, construction, mechanical engineering, or industrial cleaning.

Hydro-X Air operates with dedicated teams of two, working remotely to deliver services.

Location: Field Based, travel within the region expected.

Working Hours: 45 hours/week, including days, nights, and weekends. Jobs are scheduled up to 3 weeks in advance.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Cleaning kitchen extract and ventilation systems per TR19 Grease standards.
  • Working safely with oils, fluids, and lubricants.
  • Completing and issuing service sheets and documentation timely.
  • Supporting Fire damper inspections per BS9999.
  • Assisting with installation of access doors in accordance with DW144.
