Looking for an exciting new opportunity? We've got you covered! Due to business growth, we need a Trainee Air Hygiene Engineer to join our team in the Surrey region. As a Trainee Air Hygiene Engineer, you will receive full training and ongoing support to enable you to become the best in your field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grease extraction clean ensuring you understand the principles of grease extraction systems
  • Carry out pre and post-clean reports to TR19 standards
  • Detailed surveys of ductwork systems
  • Clean ventilation ductwork and air handling units using rotary brush equipment
  • Testing of fire dampers and completion of the basic fire damper survey
  • Survey all types of ventilation systems and provide comprehensive reports

Required Skills:

  • Good IT skills as data is recorded on smartphones through use of a service app
  • Excellent organisation and time keeping skills working to deadlines
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Standards, systems, procedures, and process focused
  • Self-motivated, using own initiative, desire to learn and achieve
  • A full Clean Driving License is required
  • You may be required to travel around your region with the need for an occasional overnight stay
