We have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Aftersales Advisor to join our service team at our Sudbury Ford dealership.

Our Aftersales Advisors play a crucial role in delivering world-class customer experiences, combining responsibilities of Parts Advisor and Service Advisor. You'll liaise with customers via telephone and digital communications to arrange services, MOTs, and repairs. Additionally, you'll be a key member of our Parts team, ensuring quick and efficient service for retail and workshop customers and processing all orders on the same day. You will also complete administrative functions accurately and log any stock discrepancies.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual to join our award-winning business, be part of a high-performing team, and develop their career.

Responsibilities
  • Booking MOTs, services, and repairs for customers
  • Advising customers on warranty cover and upselling parts/accessories beneficial to them
  • Coordinating with the Aftersales department to organise and schedule appointments based on workload and call volumes
  • Managing high volumes of customer interactions daily, including calls and online bookings
  • Informing customers of turnaround times and maintaining effective communication during vehicle repairs
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and updating booking systems
  • Assisting the Parts Manager with daily duties
  • Ensuring stock items are correctly located and stock control is maintained
  • Receiving orders and managing returns to stay up-to-date

As a Trainee Aftersales Advisor, you need energy, a warm personality, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You should have strong communication skills, be able to build rapport easily, and explain technical information clearly. Being tech-savvy is a plus, as you'll learn to use our automotive systems. You must have held a full UK driving licence for at least 6 months for insurance purposes.

You should be a team player but also able to work independently and use your initiative.

If your skills and experience match our requirements, please apply today. Our Talent Acquisition Team will be in touch.
