Halstock Cabinet Makers Ltd in South Somerset is seeking a Trainee Aftercare Technician to join our team. The role involves practical hands-on work across bespoke joinery, furniture installation and aftercare services, with travel to client sites including London.

You'll learn on the job from experienced colleagues, supporting aftercare, maintenance and small works projects in prestigious residential properties, while developing essential project and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support aftercare and maintenance on completed projects.
• Assist with repairs and hardware replacements.
• Help with snagging and remedial works on existing installations.
• Support installation of small works projects on site.
• Travel to client sites, primarily in London, for planned works.
• Take site photographs, notes and measurements for records.
• Maintain accurate records using digital reporting and project management systems.
• Liaise with clients, installers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Assist workshop teams with preparation and modification work.
