The role of Advanced Practitioner is a significant development within the Scottish Ambulance Service, offering excellent career progression opportunities in a clinical setting. We are currently accepting applications for Paramedics to become Trainee Advanced Practitioners (Urgent & Primary Care).
This role allows you to join our expanding team of Advanced Practitioners within SAS and build on the success of the Advanced Practice programme.
Successful applicants will undertake a fully funded Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Practice, including non-medical prescribing, over approximately 30 months. Salaries during training are a percentage of Band 7, increasing upon qualification.
Applicants should read all supporting documentation and complete a reflective learning statement. Support from current line managers is required. External candidates must pass a fitness test. Interviews are scheduled for June 2025. Drop-in sessions will be held in May 2025 via Teams to answer questions.
