Job summary

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is offering a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner position within the Neurosciences service. Qualifications

• Registered Healthcare Professional on relevant part of NMC / HCPC register.
• Completion of Healthcare Degree (or equivalent - Minimum 120 credits at L6 or evidence of Masters level study).
• Committed and eligible for participation in and completion of MSc in area of speciality.
• Higher Education Institute approved course in supporting learners in practice or evidence of supporting learners in practice.
• Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development.
• Basic keyboard skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Significant Post Registration experience within chosen specialty.
• Coaching/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in conjunction with the 4 pillars of Advanced Practice as outlined in the HEE Framework.
• Deliver advanced level of clinical practice under supervision.
• Develop knowledge and skill to provide expert clinical management and care.
• Complete a clinical portfolio showing HEE capabilities and competencies.
• Working towards MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice.
