Job summary

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (tACP) within the Neurosciences service. The post develops advanced clinical practice at band 6 level with MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice on a supported pathway.

You will work with senior clinicians to deliver expert patient care, pursue a formal MSc, and build leadership and management skills while supporting the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Registered Healthcare Professional on relevant part of NMC/HCPC register.
• Completion of Healthcare Degree (or equivalent) with minimum 120 credits at Level 6 or evidence of Masters level study.
• Committed to MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice.
• Higher Education Institute approved course in supporting learners in practice or evidence of supporting learners in practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced clinical practice under supervision within the Neurosciences speciality.
• Develop knowledge to provide expert clinical management and care.
• Progress towards MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and complete clinical portfolio.
