We are recruiting for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner - Children's Services who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
You will be practicing autonomously as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) within the Children's Emergency Department and assessment area (CAU). This standalone CED/CAU features 4 majors bays, 2 HDU bays, 2 resus bays, with a co-located CAU and decision unit.

This role involves assessment, examination, diagnosis, and treatment within an agreed scope of practice across acute services. You will support a new, efficient, patient-focused way of working, ensuring safe referral and discharge of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations.
The role comprises 80% clinical work and 20% related to appraisal, clinical audit, teaching, self-development, service development, and research.
You will work in partnership with our PEM and paediatric doctors.
