A leading healthcare provider in Stockport is seeking a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner to carry out clinical assessments for Trauma and Orthopaedic patients focusing on spinal conditions. This role offers the opportunity to progress from Band 7 to Band 8a upon completion of required qualifications, emphasizing leadership and collaboration in a dynamic environment.
The Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner will work under the supervision of a Clinician while working towards their qualification. They will undertake clinical assessments for Trauma and Orthopaedic patients, with a focus on spinal conditions. Responsibilities include ordering and carrying out investigations and initiating treatments within defined competence and protocols, in collaboration with senior clinicians and the multidisciplinary team.
They will provide leadership and clinical support to nurses in the service, working alongside the multi-disciplinary and senior nursing teams. The successful candidate will rotate through all areas of Trauma and Orthopaedics, working both within a team and independently in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
This is a training/development post; all applicants will start at Band 7, progressing to Band 8a upon successful demonstration of the completion of the relevant qualifications:
