MCS Group is partnering with a unique UK Accountancy practice in Belfast to recruit a driven and ambitious Trainee Accounts Technician / Accountant. The Role

You will have a wide range of duties, such as;

• Unique, hands-on role within an exciting portfolio of clients
• Bookkeeping and financial record management
• Raising and processing client invoices
• Regular communication with clients to provide support and advice
• Managing compliance tasks, including Tax Returns and VAT Returns
• Preparation of accounts and financial statements
• Acting as internal accountants for music industry/sports/entertainment clients
• Guiding clients through key processes: contracts, invoicing, and bookkeeping

The Person

The ideal candidate will be:

• Ideal for an Accounts Technician Trainee or a recent graduate in Accountancy or Business
• Ambitious Trainee Accounts Technicians/Trainee Accountants
• Ideal fit for a close-knit, collaborative team environment
• Previous commercial experience is desired (e.g. bar, retail, hospitality)
• Demonstrates a genuine desire to build a career and progress within the industry
