About The Role…

We are excited to be recruiting for a Trainee Accounts Assistant. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing motor groups.

As a Trainee Accounts Assistant, you will report to the Branch Accountant and will be responsible for the daily processing of key accounts functions such as cash, bank and purchase ledger.

You will be a valued team member working within one of our fast paced dealerships with a keen eye for detail. You will be able provide the highest level of accuracy, all whilst contributing towards making Stoneacre the Number One Motor Group.

An average day as an Accounts Assistant…

• Reconciling daily banking and bank statements.
• Purchase Ledger maintenance - processing invoices to correct nominal codes, reconciling supplier statements and setting up monthly BACS payment runs.
• Creating and processing a variety of payments using online banking system.
• Petty cash control and monthly reconciliation.
• Dealing with incoming post
• General housekeeping duties
  
  

About You…

• The ideal candidate will be reliable and conscientious
• Keen to learn, there will be opportunities for progression for the right
• Strong attention to detail and a team player.
• Good IT Skills, particularly MS Office including Excel.
• Minimum GCSE grade 4 in Maths and English
• No experience necessary as full training given, we are just looking for someone with the right attitude
