We are recruiting a Trainee Accounts Assistant to join the finance team of an established, family-run business in the Bridlington area.
This could be a great next step if you have already started an AAT qualification, including AAT Level 2, or if you have a genuine interest in accountancy and are ready to begin your professional studies.
You'll gain hands-on experience across several areas of finance, including purchase ledger, credit control, bank reconciliations, payroll and management accounts, while receiving support to continue developing your accounting knowledge and qualifications.
What you'll be doing Working alongside an experienced finance team, you'll gradually build your knowledge and take on more responsibility as your confidence develops.
This variety will give you a strong understanding of how a finance department operates and the opportunity to put your AAT studies into practice.
We're particularly interested in hearing from people who can demonstrate a genuine interest in developing a career in accountancy.
You may already be studying towards AAT Level 2 or another stage of the AAT qualification, or you may be looking for the right opportunity to begin your professional studies.
Previous experience within an accounts department is not essential. What is important is that you can demonstrate why accountancy is the career you want to pursue.
