What We Offer:- Professional Growth: Our goal is to support you in achieving an AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting as part of our trainee accountant program.

- Comprehensive Training: The post is for a fixed term of 15 months which would be split between working in the office and attending a training provider to undertake training to obtain AAT level 3 qualification
- Training Costs Covered: Walsall Council will cover the costs related to your training in line with our Learning and Development Policy.
What We’re Looking For:- Motivated Individuals: Willing to undertake an AAT Level 3 Qualification and progress through the course whilst starting to develop Finance Business Partner skills.
- Qualifications: You will have achieved level 2 AAT or finance related NVQ level 2 qualification and have GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or higher.
Please note that progression to a higher level cannot be guaranteed.

Stage 1 - will consist of a virtual pre-screening interview conducted via Microsoft Teams, which is expected to take place week commencing 8th September. If you are successful at this stage, you will be invited to attend Stage 2.
Stage 2 - will be a face to face interview within the Civic Centre. This stage will consist of a short test followed by an interview. These interviews are likely to be held week commencing 15 th September.
