Recruitment Solutions in Chichester is seeking a Trainee in accounts and finance to grow with a modern Chartered firm. You will train across bookkeeping, VAT, management accounts and year-end work, with exposure to tax and audit as you progress.

This full-time role supports ongoing qualifications (AAT/ACCA/ACA) and clear salary progression as you develop professionally. Monday–Friday office-based in the Chichester area with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Numerate and keen to grow a career in accounting.
• Willing to undertake training and professional qualifications (AAT/ACCA/ACA).
• Live within a 1-hour commute of Chichester.
• Attend office Monday to Friday and engage with clients.

Responsibilities

• Support Client Managers across a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in management accounts and provide data for decisions.
• Prepare year-end accounts and assist with statutory reporting.
• Prepare tax returns for companies, partnerships and sole traders.
