Job summary

Armstrong Watson LLP in Hexham invites applications for the Level 7 Chartered Pathway Programme (Start Ahead) Trainee Accountant, commencing September 2027. You will earn a full salary while studying, with fully funded professional qualifications and a clear route to Level 7.

You’ll gain experience across Business Services, Audit & Assurance and Financial Advisory, with placements in Glasgow, Carlisle, Newcastle, Leeds or Manchester, supported by mentors and training providers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 96 UCAS points from A Levels or equivalent
• Minimum of 7 GCSEs (or 6 National 5) including Maths and English
• Age at least 18 by 31 August 2027

Responsibilities

• Learn and complete professional qualifications while earning a salary
• Work across multiple service lines (Business Services, Audit & Assurance, Financial Advisory)
• Gain real client experience and develop professional skills with mentorship
