Job summary

Ellacotts Accountants in Birmingham is offering an Apprenticeship/Entry-level role to kick-start your professional career in accountancy while studying towards a professional qualification through our Employer funded or apprenticeship programmes.

You will gain hands-on experience working with clients, preparing accounts, assisting with VAT and tax returns, and visiting client sites as required, with training and support to develop into a trusted adviser.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to travel to client sites when required.
• Living within commuting distance of the Birmingham office.

Work with entities of all sizes, from large corporations to owner-managed businesses, alongside not-for-profits such as charities and academies. You'll gain exposure to audits, client-facing work and a broad range of industries, with opportunities to visit clients across the UK.

Private Client

Support private individuals, families and businesses with their accounting and taxation affairs. This role combines technical expertise with outstanding client service, helping clients navigate complex financial matters while building trusted long-term relationships.
