Are you looking to become an accountant within an Accountancy Practice? We have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are currently seeking to appoint a Trainee Accountant in a Practice with 25 employees in a fast-moving environment. The company offers a great study package, including a full 9 weeks paid study leave a year to obtain the ACA qualification.

Trainee Accountant Duties:

• Corporate tax compliance work (including preparation of tax computations, tax returns, and computation of liabilities) and preparation of VAT returns.
• Develop an understanding of the practical issues involved in delivering a high-quality service to clients.
• Assignments will be undertaken both in the office and at client's premises, involving a mixture of teamwork and individual projects.

The Successful Applicant:

• Must have a 2:1 or above in Maths, Business, Accountancy & Finance, or Economics.
• Must have an analytical and methodical approach to work, applying both common sense and technical skills to different assignments.
• Must be a highly organized person who can prioritize effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Must possess good interpersonal skills.
• Must be self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to work unsupervised.
• Must be a good team player.
• Must have strong Microsoft skills with a very good understanding of Excel.

Salary and Benefits:

• £18,000.00 Salary with full ACA study support.
• 10 weeks paid study leave.
• 28 days a year holiday including bank holidays.
• Free onsite parking.
