A leading accountancy firm in Leeds is seeking a Trainee Accountant to join their team. This role offers significant training and responsibilities while working towards gaining the full ACCA qualification. The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent communication abilities, good judgement, and a commitment to professionalism, within a supportive team environment.
Trainee Accountant. Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. National (no overseas)
The successful candidate that we are seeking to recruit (at the earliest) will benefit from a wealth of experience and training with early responsibility and encouraged to develop both personally and professionally, with a view to obtaining the full ACCA qualification, (as a part-qualified Accountant with the ACCA at the point of joining the firm), by completion of the practical work experience as required and meeting remaining exam requirements).
The recruit will have excellent communication skills and must be fully IT literate. This role is an opportunity to gain extensive and holistic experience in accountancy within a busy, professional practice in West Yorkshire, U.K.
The right candidate will need good judgement, and the ability to work as part of a team, as well as working on their own initiative. Additionally, they will have an innovative and creative approach to add value to the firm’s reputable position, and in order to fulfill the everyday needs of the business, as well as a sound understanding of confidentiality and professional ethics, and be of professional candidature at all times.
The successful applicants will be exposed to a challenging work environment, but within a supportive & friendly team framework.
It is expected that the candidates will attend the ACCA networking events on a regular basis and will, therefore, be encouraged to promote the ACCA, as does the firm.
We are an Approved Training Practice for the ACCA.
Salary is £20k + ACCA study package (reviewed after 6 months, depending upon qualification and experience).

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 9.00am-5.00pm.
