Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Trainee Accountant, located in Greater Manchester. The Trainee Accountant will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping and preparing financial statements. The role will involve working closely with senior accountants, supporting them in client engagements, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

You will be involved in the following:

• Preparation of bookkeeping on a monthly/quarterly basis

• Preparation of Monthly/quarterly Management accounts.

• Preparation of financial statements

• Preparation of Company Tax Returns and Computations.

• Preparation of VAT Returns and involved in MTD filings.

• Deal with any ad hoc queries/work requested by clients.

Requirements

• Must have a right to work in the UK

Education

We would expect to see a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent) in both Mathematics and English at GCSE level and be Computer literate.
