The Role

You will be working as part of a team on accountants primarily within the office with the opportunity for occasional working from home.

As well as on the job training and practical experience, you will receive study support to gain the globally recognised ACCA qualification. Ensuring you have the right balance of experience, personal development and technical training to kickstart your career in accountancy.

Initial duties to include:

  • Company Secretarial duties including Companies House filings and statutory record keeping.
  • Mail handling and telephony.
  • Client onboarding processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Payroll & Pensions.

Further training to be provided in:

  • Bookkeeping using Microsoft Excel, Xero and QuickBooks Online.
  • Preparation of VAT returns.
  • Preparation of self assessment tax returns.
  • Preparation of statutory limited company accounts under FRS 105 and FRS 102 1A.
  • Preparation of Corporation Tax computations and returns.

Essential Requirements

  • 3 A-levels.
  • 2:2 at degree level in a any subject.
  • Experience of working in an office environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team ethic and initiative.
  • Professional outlook.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience of working in a related field.
