Starting Salary and Benefits

Starting salary up to £25,000 per annum for recent or soon-to-be graduates, or £18,000 for school/college leavers. Salary increases with examinations passed, experience, and responsibilities. Includes 31 days of annual leave (including bank holidays) and additional days based on length of service.

Fully funded study package worth around £8,000 for AAT and £20,000 for ACCA or ACA, covering professional study fees, training courses, books, membership fees, and dedicated study time alongside relevant work experience.

Core hours are 9am to 5pm, with a 1-hour lunch break. Start date is immediate or dependent on your availability.

They are seeking to appoint a trainee accountant interested in studying for a professional accounting qualification, offering a unique opportunity to earn while learning with fully funded study support in an exceptional environment.

The Role

Develop accounting skills while contributing to the Accounts, Audit, Tax, and Bookkeeping departments. The role includes full sponsorship through college studies for ACA, ACCA, or AAT courses and exams, with mentorship provided to help you reach your full potential.

Key Tasks

• Bookkeeping using software like Xero and Sage
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns to HMRC
• Preparing and submitting personal tax returns to HMRC
• Accounts preparation for sole traders and limited companies
• Assisting the Audit manager with audit-related tasks
• Handling client queries

Client contact is encouraged, offering early development of client-facing skills.
