Train to Teach - 110- 120 per day - Academic Mentor

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for education and a desire to become a qualified Secondary Teacher? If so, this Train to Teach opportunity across East London could be perfect for you!

We are working in partnership with a number of fantastic Secondary Schools across East London, all offering a Train to Teach route from September 2025. These are long-term academic mentor positions, paid on a daily rate, with a clear pathway into salaried teacher training the following academic year.

What will this Train to Teach position involve?

  • Working with students across KS3-4

  • Supporting learning in your subject specialism (English, Maths, Science, Humanities, or more)

  • 1:1 and group interventions

  • Leading small classes under supervision as an unqualified teacher

  • Full support and mentorship throughout the year

  • Guaranteed route into teacher training from September 2026

ABOUT THE ROLE
