Overview

Are you interested in becoming a Swim Teacher? We are offering an exciting opportunity to train as a swim teacher and work for your local Active Lifestyle Centre. You will gain a nationally recognised Swim Teaching Qualification with the possibility of further career development within the Leisure Industry. Course Details

This course is being held at Bradley Stoke Active Lifestyle Centre on the following dates:

  • 04/11/2025 - 09:00 - 18:30
  • 06/11/2025 - 09:00 - 18:30
  • 10/11/2025 - 09:00 - 18:30
  • 14/11/2025 - 09:00 - 18:30
  • 17/11/2025 - 09:00 - 18:30

Times are provisional. Full attendance is required.

Roles and Contract Type

We have contracted and casual roles available. During the application and interview process you will be asked to indicate your preference for fixed hours of work (contracted) or working on an “as and when required” (casual) basis. Please note the following for each:

  • Contracted: We will fund 100% of the course, subject to signing a training agreement. The training agreement stipulates that you must repay in full the cost of the training if you:
    • Leave the organisation during your first 12 months of employment
    • Do not complete the STA Course
    • Are dismissed for any reason other than redundancy
  • Casual: We will fund 50% of the course and you will fund the remaining 50% subject to signing a training agreement. The training agreement stipulates that you must repay in full Circadian Trust’s contribution to the cost of the training if you:
    • Leave the organisation during your first 12 months of work
    • Do not complete the STA Course
    • Do not work for a period of three consecutive months

  • Bradley Stoke - Casual roles only
  • Kingswood - Contracted and Casual roles available. Contracted shifts are as follows:
    • Thursday - 3:30pm - 6:30pm
    • Sunday - 3:00pm - 5:30pm
  • Thornbury - Contracted and Casual roles available. Contracted shifts are as follows:
    • Thursdays - 4:00pm - 5:30pm
    • Fridays - 4:00pm - 6:00pm
    • Saturdays - 8:00am - 10:00am
    • Sunday - 8:30am - 10:30am
  • Longwell Green - Contracted and Casual roles available. Contracted shifts are as follows:
    • Monday - 4:00pm - 7:30pm
    • Tuesday - 4:00pm - 6:00pm
    • Saturday - 9:30am - 12:30pm
    • Sunday - 3:30pm - 5:30pm
  • Yate - Contracted and Casual roles available. Contracted shifts are as follows:
    • Monday - 3:30pm - 7:00pm
    • Wednesday - 3:30pm - 6:30pm
    • Thursday - 4:00pm - 7:00pm
    • Friday - 3:30pm - 6:00pm
    • Saturday - 8:00am - 11:30am
    • Saturday - 9:00am - 11:30am
