Job summary

Direct Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a reliable Pick-Up and Trailer Driver to join a busy Vehicle Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Centre in Stoke-on-Trent. You will collect and deliver vehicles, tow trailers and support day-to-day operations.

The role suits an experienced driver with towing entitlement and a keen eye for vehicle condition, safety and paperwork. Monday to Friday, full-time hours, competitive pay dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with towing entitlement
• Experience towing car transporter trailer
• Experience loading, securing and transporting vehicles
• Good knowledge of road safety and vehicle transportation procedures
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Driving a pick-up vehicle with a car transporter trailer to collect and deliver vehicles.
• Safely loading, securing and unloading vehicles onto trailers.
• Transporting vehicles between dealerships, customer sites and the PDI Centre.
• Carrying out vehicle checks before collection and delivery.
• Inspecting vehicles for any damage and accurately reporting issues.
• Ensuring all vehicles are handled carefully and professionally.
• Completing relevant collection, delivery and vehicle movement paperwork.
• Following road safety regulations and company procedures.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the pick-up vehicle and trailer.
• Assisting with vehicle movements around the PDI Centre when required.
