Trailer Technician / Fitter (Experienced & Trainee) – our client islooking for a skilled Trailer Technicians/Fitter to join their reputable team in Immingham, Northeast Lincolnshire.

About the role

As aTrailer Technician/ Fitter you will engage in a variety of tasks from routine maintenance to challenging roadside repairs. Your work will directly impact their unmatched service quality, ensuring their clients’ trailers are always in top condition.

Other key duties include:

• Cover on-site servicing and handle breakdowns as needed.
• Prepare trailers for MOT in our well-equipped workshop.
• Deal with roadside breakdowns and perform repairs/servicing at customer sites.
• Conduct quayside trailer checks and repairs.
• Uphold our rigorous Health and Safety standards.

About You

You will be an experienced Trailer Technicians/ Fitters with relevant engineering or mechanical skills. You will be able to work under pressure and have excellent time management skills to manage your workload. A full driving licence is required, and while a C+E licence is advantageous, they are willing to provide training to the right candidate who has a mechanical background (Trainee Trailer Technicians/ Fitters earn between £32,000 - £36,000 depending on experience and overtime).
