Job summary

SPR Trailer Services Ltd in Immingham, North Lincolnshire, is hiring Trailer Technician / Fitter to join a trusted trailer specialist with maintenance, servicing, MOTs, quay checks and 24/7 roadside repairs. You’ll carry out on-site servicing, prepare trailers for MOTs, attend roadside repairs, and perform quayside checks.

A full driving licence is essential; a C+E licence is advantageous (training can be provided).

Trailer Technician / Fitters - SPR Trailer Services is a trusted, full-service trailer specialist offering comprehensive maintenance, servicing, MOTs, quay checks, and 24/7 roadside repairs. We're looking for both skilled Trailer Technicians / Fitters to join our established and respected team based in Immingham, North East Lincolnshire.

Company benefits include:

• Competitive Salary: Skilled fitters can expect a base salary of around £43,000 per annum depending on experience, with realistic potential annual earnings of £47,000+
• Other benefits:
  • Double time pay for all non-rostered overtime
  • Holiday pay calculated on average earnings

As a Trailer Technician / Fitter, you'll be responsible for:

• Carrying out on-site servicing and breakdown cover as required
• Preparing trailers in the workshop for MOT inspections
• Attending roadside breakdowns and completing repairs/servicing at customer sites
• Performing trailer checks and repairs at the quayside
• Following company procedures, safe systems of work, and Health & Safety regulations
• Working efficiently, responsibly, and to a high standard
• A C+E licence is advantageous (training can be provided if required)
• To be part of the out of hours on-call team. Attractive additional renumeration paid

About You

As a Trailer Technician / Fitter you'll bring relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong background of mechanical or engineering skills. Reliability, strong time management, and the ability to perform under pressure are essential. A full driving licence is essential.
