Role summary:

The trainee will complete the TIP Mechanic Academy in one year. Our very own, one-year, hands-on learning model, combining online, face-to-face, and supervised on-the-job training to ensure you gain all the skills necessary to become a Standard Trailer Mechanic. You will also earn a wage that increases as you progress through the program!

Responsibilities:

The main objective is to acquire all the technical skills required to hold a position as a Standard Trailer Mechanic.

Trainees will be introduced to a wide range of topics, supervised by a coach/sponsor. You will focus on learning how to function effectively in a team and support team members in daily tasks. You will liaise with key stakeholders and be taught to maintain a high level of customer service. You will also learn to identify roadblocks and design possible solutions.

• A self-starter with a high level of creativity;
• Loves working in a hands-on environment;
• Has technical insight/understanding;
