Job summary

Fusion People Ltd is seeking an Auto Electrician in Stoke-on-Trent for a temp-to-perm role within a well-established vehicle manufacturer. The role involves building and maintaining electrical systems for in-house designed trailer chassis, decks and components, with emphasis on high-specification, low-volume production for major blue-chip clients.

You will work under the Electrical Workshop Manager, covering day and night shifts, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

• Strong understanding of auto electrical systems.
• Proven fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Competent in the use of hand and air tools.
• Good mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of electrical systems on commercial trailers
• Fault finding and diagnostics across a range of vehicle electrical systems
• Working from technical drawings and wiring schematics
• Assisting in the assembly of bespoke trailer components
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment
