Role

Traffic Signal Engineer within a multi-disciplinary transport technology team. You will work within a team of traffic signal specialists with responsibility for ensuring the highest levels of quality in your project deliverables.

Requirements & Skills

1. Degree qualified, ideally in a relevant engineering discipline, with 3 years’ relevant experience, or HNC/HND in Electrical or Civil Engineering with 5 years’ relevant experience.
2. Good working knowledge of the traffic signals industry.
3. Demonstrable working knowledge of relevant design standards, best practice guidance and legislation.
4. UTC database experience an advantage.
5. Experience in undertaking Factory and Site Acceptance Tests.
6. Ability to work flexibly as part of a team to meet project needs.
7. Competent in the use of CAD and traffic signals design software such as LinSig / TRANSYT.
8. Applied experience of CDM 2015, health & safety management, quality and environmental standards.
9. Good written and oral communication skills.
