Traffic Operator

Queenslie

At ARR Craib Transport Ltd, we are currently seeking a Traffic Operator at our Queenslie depot.

The position of Traffic Operator involves:

• Support daily planning activity for a fleet of vehicles operating locally - including deliveries and collections.
• Co-ordination activities to include vehicle route planning and scheduling.
• Managing and de-briefing drivers.
• Co-ordinating with the team to enable vehicle maintenance and service schedule for the contract vehicles.
• Monitor, check and scan all driver to customer proof of deliveries.
• Working with a number of internal programmes to achieve effective operation of the business.
• Answering all queries via email, phone and face to face.
• General administration duties to include, filing, photocopying and data input.
• Dealing with customer queries, in a professional and timely manner.

Essential skills required for Traffic Operator:

• Previous experience working in a transport environment to include knowledge of working time directive and EU driver's hours.
• Ability to communicate at all levels.
• Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload.
• Attention to detail is crucial and working to deadlines daily.
• Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
• MS packages to include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
