Job summary

Involve Recruitment Ltd. is hiring an experienced Traffic Marshall / General Labourer for a new-build school project in Cambridge, UK. The role is predominantly labouring (about 80%), with 20% traffic marshalling and assisting with deliveries.

You will work on a busy site, following health and safety procedures and supporting site management as required. Candidate must hold CPCS A73 or NPORS N403 Traffic Marshal (or SATM CLOCS) and CPCS/NPORS Blue Card.

Qualifications

• Experience on busy construction sites with safe deliveries and vehicle movements.
• Reliability, punctuality and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures and site rules.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labouring duties across the construction site.
• Keep the site clean, tidy and safe at all times.
• Assist trades and site management as required.
• Marshal vehicles and manage site traffic safely.
• Receive and direct deliveries to correct locations.
• Assist with unloading materials and maintain clear access routes.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the project.

Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Traffic Marshall / General Labourer to join our team on a new-build school project.

This is a predominantly labouring role, with approximately 80% of the work involving general site labouring duties and the remaining 20% covering traffic marshalling and assisting with site deliveries as required.

The successful candidate must be reliable, hardworking and experienced in working on a busy construction site, with the relevant qualifications to safely manage deliveries and vehicle movements.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out general labouring duties across the construction site.
• Keeping the site clean, tidy and safe at all times.
• Assisting trades and site management as required.
• Marshalling vehicles and managing site traffic safely.
• Receiving and directing deliveries to the correct locations.
• Assisting with the safe unloading of materials and maintaining clear access routes.
• Following all site health and safety procedures.
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the project.
• Valid CPCS A73 or NPORS N403 Traffic Marshal qualification, or SATM (CLOCS).
• CPCS Competent Operator Blue Card or NPORS Blue Card.
• Experience of traffic marshalling and managing site deliveries.
• Good understanding of construction site health and safety.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
