Job description

• Direct and guide vehicles, plant, and delivery trucks safely around the construction site
  

• Use recognized hand signals or two-way radios to communicate with drivers and machine operators
  

• Coordinate with site managers, crane operators, and logistics teams to schedule deliveries
  

• Maintain clear vehicle access and pedestrian walkways
  

• Monitor traffic flow and enforce one-way systems or restricted zones as required
  

• Ensure all vehicles are properly escorted to and from loading/unloading zones
  

• Check delivery documentation and guide suppliers to designated drop-off points
  

• Report any safety issues, near misses, or breaches of site traffic management rules
  

• Assist in site safety inspections and general support duties as needed
  

Requirements

Valid Traffic Marshall / Banksman ticket (e.g., CPCS, NPORS, or recognised training body)

CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)

Prior experience as a Traffic Marshall on construction sites

Strong communication skills and a safety-first mindset

Ability to stay alert, calm, and assertive under pressure

Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
