Job Overview

Our client, a leading organisation within the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Traffic Marshall to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves coordinating and managing vehicle movement within a designated area, ensuring safety and a smooth flow of traffic, particularly on construction sites or during events.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Direct vehicles to ensure smooth and safe movement within the site
2. Implement traffic control measures in line with safety guidelines
3. Communicate effectively with drivers and other site personnel
4. Monitor and manage traffic flow to minimise disruption
5. Ensure all vehicles adhere to site safety rules and regulations
6. Report any irregularities or incidents to the site manager
7. Assist with site access and egress control
8. Maintain accurate records of traffic movements

Job Requirements:

1. Experience in traffic management or a related role
2. Strong knowledge of traffic control measures and safety guidelines
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations
5. Attention to detail and strong observational skills
6. Physical fitness to stand and direct traffic for extended periods
7. Relevant qualifications or certification in traffic management (preferred)
8. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
