Job description

Job title: Traffic Marshall

Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire, United Kingdom

Pay rate: 16 p/h

Start date: As soon as possible

Are you looking for a Traffic Marshall role? Do you have a passion for the projects that you work on? Do you have a CSCS card and Traffic Marshall ticket? If so, this could be a role for you.

Duties/Key responsibilities:
  • Ensure all visitors are greeted correctly and represent the company to the best of their ability
  • Directing traffic: Safely guide vehicles to their destination, and ensure the smooth flow of traffic
  • Setting up traffic management systems: Install and maintain cones, barriers, signs, and other equipment
  • Monitoring traffic: Keep an eye on traffic flow and adjust systems as needed
  • Communicating: Interact with drivers, pedestrians, and other workers to ensure safety
  • Reporting incidents: Alert the appropriate personnel to any incidents or safety hazards
  • Providing customer service: Assist drivers of large vehicles
  • Maintaining pedestrian routes: Preserve routes for pedestrians
  • Conducting risk assessments: Evaluate potential risks
To be successful in this role you must have:
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Valid Traffic Marshall card
  • Full PPE
  • Competent communication skills
