Job summary

A reputable Construction company in the Lancing area is seeking a Traffic Marshall. You will work under the Project and Site Managers to ensure safe site operations, manage parking, and control traffic for deliveries.

Experience is preferred but not essential; a valid CSCS card and Vehicle Banksman qualification are required to perform the role effectively.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required.
• Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman qualification.
• Some previous experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site operations under Project/Site Manager and assist with safety policies.
• Ensure contractors are parking as per site rules and safety policy.
• Control the flow of traffic for deliveries entering the site.
• Secure barrier protection around the site and ensure fencing is maintained.
• Note: no welfare responsibilities are involved in this role.

The role:

As the Traffic Marshall for the development, you will be responsible for:

• Working under the supervision and management of the Project Manager, Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager.
• Ensuring contractors are parking as per the site safety policy.
• Controlling flow of traffic when deliveries enter the site.
• Securing barrier protection around the site and making sure the fencing is secure.
• Please note there is no welfare responsibilities involved in this role.

About you:

• Some previous experience is preferred but not essential.
