Job description

Do you currently work in Construction? Are you a Traffic Marshall or a Labourer interested in gaining your Traffic Marshall qualification and looking for a new opportunity? If the answers are yes, we have roles opening with a reputable Construction company in the Haywards Heath area.


Role: Traffic Marshall
Location: Haywards Heath
Contract type: Temporary (Full time)
Duration: Ongoing
Pay rate: £15-£16 per hour.

The company:
A well-established contractor that operates in various sectors such as industrials, education, commercial, and refurbishment.


The role:
As the Traffic Marshall for the development, you will be responsible for:

  1. Working under the supervision and management of the Project Manager, Site Manager, and Assistant Site Manager.
  2. Ensuring contractors are parking as per the site safety policy.
  3. Controlling the flow of traffic when deliveries enter the site.
  4. Securing barrier protection around the site and making sure the fencing is secure.

Please note there are no welfare responsibilities involved in this role.


About you:
Some previous experience is preferred but not essential.


To be successful in your application for this role, you will need and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  1. A current and valid CSCS card.
  2. Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman qualification.
