Job description

Do currently work in Construction? Are you a Traffic Marshall looking for a new opportunity? Also hold a CSCS card? If the answers are yes, we have roles opening with a reputable Construction company in the Canterbury area.


Role: Traffic Marshall

Location: Canterbury

Contract type: Temporary (Full time)

Date Required: April 2025

Duration: 1 year

Pay rate: £15-£16 per hour

The company:

A well-established contractor that operates in various sectors such as the industrials, education, commercial, and refurbishment space.


The role:

As the Traffic Marshall for the development, you will be responsible for:

  1. Working under the supervision and management of the Project Manager, Site Manager, and Assistant Site Manager.
  2. Ensuring contractors are parking as per the site safety policy.
  3. Controlling the flow of traffic when deliveries enter the site.
  4. Securing barrier protection around the site and making sure the fencing is secure.

Please note there are no welfare responsibilities involved in this role.


About you:

Some previous experience is preferred but not essential.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  1. You will need a current and valid CSCS card.
  2. Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman qualification.
