Traffic Manager / Resource Manager (up to £36K, DOE)

London, England, United Kingdom

About The Job

Virgo Health
is a specialist health communications agency, part of the GOLIN group and the wider IPG network of companies with more than 200 offices around the world as well as hubs in London, New York and Chicago. We are passionate about helping people to make better decisions around health and wellbeing. Whether it’s clinicians selecting the best treatment, patients understanding their disease better or empowering consumers to self-treat, we always make sure that the human aspect is at the heart of what we do. We work with pharmaceutical, diagnostic and consumer health companies, industry bodies, public and private health providers, as well as patient organisations. We support clients across the communications spectrum.

What is the role?

Working closely with three different departments within the Virgo Health and Golin agency (the content design studio / conceptual creatives, and the data & strategy teams), along with the Studio Manager to manage resourcing and the smooth running of these departments. Ensuring that projects are scheduled efficiently, work is allocated correctly, and that projects are completed within time, budget and internal quality control processes are followed correctly.

You will have excellent communication skills, be a natural organiser, forward planner and somebody who thrives under pressure and loves to multi-task and manage processes.

What will you be doing?

  • Taking booking requests for our content studio consisting of 2D and 3D Motion Designers / Animators, Graphic Designers, Videographer and Photographer using our scheduling software.
  • Checking RMT (an agency used resource tool) for scheduling hours for Creative and Data & Analytics team members.
  • Running weekly and monthly reporting on RMT hours and flagging overservicing
  • Liaising with account teams throughout the lifespan of a project.
  • Matching briefs to the correct skillset of the Designer / Creative.
  • Delivering briefs and making sure everyone has the time needed to deliver a high standard of work.
  • Checking on progress and flagging any issues to the account teams / Heads of departments / Studio Manager.
  • Prioritising the most business-critical work.
  • Working closely with the Studio Manager for the smooth running of all departments.
  • Start to explore strategic resourcing and not simply adding in time with the next available creative.

What are we looking for?

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role from agency background
  • Experience of working on fast-paced global accounts
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Financial management skills – budgeting, resourcing and account finance
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to flex communication style as necessary

What do we offer?

  • Competitive salary and benefits
  • Hybrid working, 2 days/week in the office
  • 6 weeks annual leave
  • Monthly well-being allowance
  • A fantastic office space in Shoreditch with a dog friendly policy
  • Clear career progression and leading training programmes developed by our L&D Director
