Havas Lynx Group seeks a Resource Manager in Manchester to coordinate resource scheduling across agency teams and disciplines. You will work with the Operations & Commercial Lead and discipline heads to assign resources for projects from brief to delivery, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.

The role requires strong project management, teamwork, and commercial awareness, with experience in an agency setting and familiarity with AI tools preferred.

• Manage resource scheduling with oversight from Operations & Commercial Lead.
• Book project timelines in Pulse Resource Scheduler and ensure hours stay within SOW budgets.
• Monitor unapproved extensions and escalate issues to discipline leads as needed.
• Ensure briefing processes are followed and resource requests align with written estimates.
• Oversee casting and allocation of time to deliver high-quality work within approved hours.
• Coordinate resource sharing, freelancers and third parties as needed.
• Monitor timesheets and approvals.

As a Resource Manager at Havas Lynx, you are the day-to-day contact for the smooth resource scheduling and execution of all projects across one or more agency teams. You work across all disciplines and shared services to make sure expectations and deadlines are met from creative brief to final delivery. You work closely with your Operations & Commercial Lead, Heads of Disciplines and ALT members, recommending the most suitable resource for each job. A key part of your role is building strong relationships within your agencies to share knowledge and experience from a production stance.

What you can expect to be doing:

• Manage resource scheduling with oversight from Operations & Commercial Lead
• Books all project timelines in full via the Pulse Resource Scheduler before the project commences and ensures that booked hours do not exceed the specific number of budgeted hours in Pulse / the SOW (or the supplied budget hours for ABP).
• Monitor and address any unapproved resource booking extensions, ensuring alignment with the budget and scope defined in the Statement of Work (SOW), and escalating issues to the appropriate discipline leads as needed
• Ensure the briefing process is rigorously followed by client services teams and that resource requests correspond to written time estimates provided by the creative, medical, strategy and other disciplines
• Ensure Creative, Medical, Strategy, and other disciplines feel fully supported and protected by overseeing appropriate casting and the allocation of sufficient time to deliver high-quality work, without exceeding the approved hours outlined in SOWs
• Coordinate resource sharing, freelancers and third parties, prioritising shared agency support where appropriate
• Monitor timesheets and approvals
• You have worked in an agency in a similar operational role - 3 years' experience
• You have great project management experience
• Working effectively and collaboratively as part of a team
• Financially and commercially aware
• Multitasker and able to move from one project to another seamlessly
• Ideally, you have experience working with Generative AI tools and data, along with AI certifications from platforms such as Coursera, Section AI, or LinkedIn Learning
