Job summary

Core Highways are recruiting a Trainee Traffic Management Operative for our new Oxford Depot. You will support the safe delivery of traffic management solutions on client sites in line with health and safety regulations.

The position requires physical activity and flexibility to work days, nights and weekends. Training is provided as part of joining our nationwide team delivering traffic management and signage solutions.

Qualifications

• Role requires physical activity.
• Flexibility for days, nights and weekends.
• Set up traffic management sites per NHSS 12AB/12C/12D.
• Complete risk assessments.
• Load vehicles safely with Traffic Management required.
• Complete daily vehicle checks.
• Report near misses to Depot Supervisor or Manager.
• Assist with maintaining depot stock levels.

Responsibilities

• Set up traffic management sites in line with National Highways Sector Schemes 12AB and 12C, and 12D.
• Complete risk assessments.
• Load vehicles safely with the Traffic Management required.
• Complete daily vehicle checks.
• Report any near misses to either your Depot Supervisor or Manager.
• Assist with maintaining depot stock levels by ensuring all equipment is placed in the designated area, specifically batteries for recharging.
