Chevron part of Ramudden Global Uk offers a Trainee Traffic Management Operative role at Old Oak Common (NW10 7ED). You will learn to install, maintain and remove temporary traffic management systems under supervision, with a route to developing essential traffic management skills for HS2 projects.

Ideal candidates are eager to learn, physically capable, and able to work outdoors in all weather. Training is provided, and progression opportunities within an established UK traffic management group

Qualifications

• Must have positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Commitment to working safely at all times.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling activities.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and removal of temporary traffic management equipment.
• Support setup of road signs, cones, barriers, signals, and diversion routes.
• Conduct daily checks of traffic management layouts for compliance.
• Maintain a safe working environment according to HS2 and safety standards.
• Follow site procedures, permits, and supervisor instructions.
• Assist with loading, unloading and transporting equipment and materials.
• Monitor traffic flow and report safety concerns promptly.
• Ensure equipment is stored securely and maintained.
• Participate in toolbox talks and training programmes.
• Work with site teams, contractors, stakeholders and the public.
