Traffic Management Operative - Walsall, West Midlands, UK (On-site)

Reporting to the Traffic Management Supervisor, you will deploy Traffic Signals on planned and reactive Traffic Projects and assist in the execution of Permanent Traffic Signal Works, ensuring efficiency and safety.

This role is vital for managing traffic systems, contributing to smooth vehicle and pedestrian flow in Walsall and surrounding areas.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct safety checks of equipment
• Perform battery swaps
• Deploy traffic management on planned and reactive works
• Assist installation and engineering teams onsite
• Ensure compliance with site specifications and quality standards
• Prepare equipment for works
• Maintain safety by adhering to health and safety procedures

Who you are:

Experienced in Traffic Management with necessary qualifications, positive, proactive, flexible to travel and work nights if needed.

Key Requirements:

• Valid, clean driving license
• NHSS 12D M1,2 & 5 qualifications
• Experience working on highways or urban roads
• Good communication skills
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Ability to work under pressure positively
