Job summary

Kier in Brixworth is seeking a Traffic Management Operative to join our highways maintenance team. This on-site role supports carriageway, footway, and drainage projects, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork across the region.

Responsibilities include risk assessments, implementing traffic management plans, and assisting with maintenance tasks such as sweeping, litter picking, and material handling. Ateam-focused environment offers growth and hands-on skill development.

Qualifications

• Holds LANTRA Traffic Management qualifications at T1/M1 and T2/M2 levels.
• Has hands-on experience from highway maintenance or a similar field.
• Has completed relevant SHE matrix training for the role.
• Committed to working safely and looking out for colleagues and the public.

Responsibilities

• Completing traffic management risk assessments to ensure site safety.
• Reviewing and implementing traffic management arrangements for minor works.
• Supporting maintenance activities including hand sweeping, cleaning, and litter picking.
• Loading, unloading, and handling materials and equipment safely.
• Working collaboratively with your team to deliver high-quality maintenance projects.
