Job summary

A leading total facilities management provider in the UK is seeking Trainee and Trained Traffic Management Operatives. This role involves installing and maintaining traffic management systems, ensuring safety, and working flexible hours. The ideal candidate will have a Full UK Drivers License and some relevant experience, although training will be provided. The position is casual and requires a commitment to enhancing client experiences.

Qualifications

  • Traffic Management qualifications are not essential but would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience in traffic management, landscaping, or winter maintenance.
  • CSR or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Install and remove Traffic Management in accordance with Chapter 8.
  • Follow task briefings and safe systems of work.
  • Liaise with customers when required.
  • Complete reports or records as needed.
  • Ensure safety of yourself, workforce, public, and others.

Skills

Full UK Drivers License
Ability to work flexible hours

Education

GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above

Location: Mobile NI

Hourly Rate: Dependant on experience

Job Type: Casual - As and When Required

The Traffic Management Operative Shall:

  1. Install and remove Traffic Management in accordance with Chapter 8
  2. Follow task briefings and appropriate safe systems of work, ensuring adherence to company Policies and Procedures at all times
  3. Liaise with customers when required
  4. Complete reports or records as needed, including actions and instructions
  5. Take responsibility for vehicles, plant, and materials in your charge
  6. Operate plant and equipment necessary for the discipline
  7. Participate in additional works as required by the business
  8. Ensure safety of yourself, the workforce, the public, and others affected by your duties
  9. Participate in and complete all training outlined in the specific training plan

Essential - About You

  • Full UK Drivers License
  • Ability to work flexible hours

Traffic Management qualifications are not essential but would be highly advantageous.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Sector Scheme 12A/B qualified
  • Sector Scheme 12D qualified
  • Forman / IPV Forman Card

Additional preferred qualifications include GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above, experience in traffic management, landscaping, or winter maintenance, CSR or equivalent qualification, LGV Licence, Trailer Licence, and knowledge of plant maintenance.
