Job summary

Class One Traffic Management Limited in Lockerbie is seeking a Traffic Management Operative to set up and oversee traffic management systems on roadworks and events. You will direct traffic safely and coordinate with teams to ensure smooth operations, including night shifts where applicable.

The role requires a full UK driving licence (max 6 points) and flexibility to work the listed shift patterns. Training and progression opportunities are provided within a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work the shift patterns listed (days/nights).
• Lantra or equivalent traffic management qualification preferred but not essential.

We offer three flexible shift patterns designed to support a healthy balance between your work commitments and personal life. These can be a combination of days and nights.

• 12 days on 2 days off (work 12 days, weekend off and continue)
• 6 days on 1 day off
• Part-time over 4 days, shift patterns of Sat-Tue or Thurs-Sun

We also have vacancies for high-speed operatives, which involve night shifts. These roles require a 12AB Lantra qualification.

• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Flexibility to work shift patterns as stated above
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points and held for more than 10 months
• Within 40 minutes driving distance from depot
• Valid traffic management qualifications (e.g. Lantra 12AB, 12D M1/M2, or Unit 2) desirable but not essential
