Job summary

Quest Employment Ltd. has an immediate opening for a Logistics Operative with traffic management experience in Leicester. You will help set up and maintain roadworks, support highway teams and keep projects moving safely on site.

This ongoing temporary role offers regular hours and a competitive hourly rate. The ideal candidate will hold a full UK driving licence (Category B), have traffic management experience and a safety-first approach.

Qualifications

A full UK driving licence, including Category B.
Previous experience in traffic management, highways maintenance or roadworks.
A safety-first approach and the ability to work effectively outdoors.
A flexible, proactive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Setting up, installing and maintaining roadworks signage and traffic management measures.
Ensuring work areas are safe for road users, pedestrians and colleagues.
Supporting highway construction and maintenance activities.
Erecting posts and carrying out associated groundwork.
Undertaking backfilling and reinstatement of highways following works.
Following relevant health and safety procedures and traffic management requirements.
Working collaboratively with the highways team to deliver essential works across the city.
