Job summary

Network Plus is recruiting a Traffic Management Coordinator in Warrington to support the United Utilities contract. You will coordinate day-to-day TM activities, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient delivery while acting as a liaison between UU, depot teams and subcontractors.

The role requires TM experience, strong planning and stakeholder skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a utilities framework. Full-time, permanent role with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic management, highways or utilities operations.
• Good understanding of traffic management compliance and safe working practices.
• Strong planning, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
• Confident working with clients, teams and subcontractors.
• Ability to prioritise and resolve operational issues.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for Traffic Management across the contract.
• Coordinate Traffic Management requirements for planned and reactive works.
• Undertake site and desktop surveys and support TM plans verification.
• Monitor programmes and resources; raise risks or issues as needed.
• Liaise with United Utilities, Network Plus teams, highways authorities and subcontractors.
• Oversee TM delivery, including site audits, documentation and compliance checks.
• Coordinate subcontractor resources and monitor performance.
• Attend meetings and provide updates to programmes and escalate risks.
• Support day/night handovers and participate in out-of-hours rota.
• Review incidents and identify root causes and improvements.
• Maintain accurate operational and compliance records.
